Over the Thanksgiving holiday we made Christina’s family pose for some portraits to test a quick light set up. This is Christina, her Stepdad and her Grandfather, they’re awesome.

Lighting: Canon 580ex as key light, two Canon 550ex’s coming from behind as edge light.

I put a new photo set up on flickr, we got to tour the new art museum in Roanoke yesterday before it opens this weekend. Maybe I’ll get into architectural photography…

A good rule of thumb: attending the wal-mart school of design does not help improve your client’s image

Our friend Paul came down to visit last weekend with his new motorcycle and asked us to take some photos. Here are a few of the good ones.

So it seems that the camera on my phone is actually half decent at exposing sunsets…go figure.

So we’re getting ready to move, and after our ordeal last year I hope everything goes well. My feelings are mixed, I hate the process of moving, but the place we’re going to be is orders of magnitude better than where we are now.
